A Birthday Hanging Decor

Hello everyone!

Greetings from Sharda Maheshwari!

I am back after a long long break. During the break I was wondering why the use of beautiful stamp sets is limited to cards or layouts only, why not create something new out of the stamp sets..

So here i am with my creation: A Hanging for birthday decorations

I chose Chevron-Birthday-Balloon for my project.
Let me show you how it looks first and then the tutorial for same..

Here is the video for the same

TUTORIAL

1. I took a Chevron paper from my stash and cut out balloons from them. I folded the sheet into half to get proper shape of balloons.

2. In the same manner hand cut balloons from two shades of blue plain paper too to add little variation.

3. Draw clouds ( as the cloud from piggy stamp was small in size and I wanted to stamp a sentiment in it). Distress the edges using mermaid lagoon distress ink and stamped the ' Happy Birthday' sentiment from Let's Party stamp set..

4. Stamped the party cap from the same stamp set and fussy cut.

5. For holding took 2 saute sticks, wrapped them in blue paper Dori and stuck them diagonally..

6. Stamped the blue plain balloons with different sentiments from the same stamp sets on opposite sides. Then assembled the balloons by scoring them in half and sticking 4 pieces back to back.. left one side open to put the string in...

7. Lastly arranged all pieces in alternate style. All the pieces are backed with the mirror image of it so that it's 2D.

8. Finally made a loop for hanging and put some beads n flowers from my stash to give it the finnese.

Thanks for stopping by.
Do leave some love in comments.
