Tangram Cards

Hello Everyone!

I am back after a long break again (though breaks are becoming very frequent with my little boy 🤫).

I am here with two Cards today with basic shapes, One concept presented in two different themes. When I thought about  shapes the first thing that striked my mind was TANGRAM.
Tangram is a Chinese geometrical puzzle consisting of a square cut into seven pieces which can be arranged to make various other shapes.

With these pieces I decided to do a Candle, one for Birthday theme, and the other one for the tribute to the Martyrs at Phulwama Attack in India.

CAS Card 1
(I Love Math Challenge)

I drew and cut the various tangram pieces from different(rainbow) coloured cardstock. Arranged and adhered them to make a candle. Added the text ' Make a Wish' and and my birthday card is ready.
(Sorry for the bad pics but had to click when my  kiddo was asleep)

Card 2
For the rainbow background of this card I used seven rainbow color Quilling strips and stuck them on a cardstock in slanting manner. Then on a smaller piece of cardstock I used the same technique as above to assemble the candle and added the sentiment "THANKS" for all the soldiers who are safeguarding our country by risking their own lives.

Hope you all like them and waiting for your love in comments.

Thanks and Regards
